The Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI)
The Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) is a composite index that summarises relevant indicatorson Europe’s digital performance and tracks the evolution of EU member states in digital competitiveness.
The Czech Republic, Latvia, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, Cyprus, Poland, Croatia, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria and Romania are the slow performing countries. They need to step up their performance in a number of areas and catch up with the rest of the EU.
